While addressing the 60th death anniversary of Veer Savarkar, he would also be praising the achievements of the Indian armed forces, who worked tirelessly during the India-Pakistan hostilities. Amit Shah to deliver keynote address on Savarkar’s 60th death anniversary

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will deliver a keynote address on the 60th death anniversary of Veer Savarkar at Sir Cowasji Jehangir Hall, Mumbai University, on Tuesday.

He will attend several functions in Mumbai including the 150th anniversary of the ancient Laxmi Narayan Temple at Madhavbaug Complex. After attending the 150th anniversary of the temple, Shah will proceed to Mumbai University. 

His visit will also include critical meetings with senior BJP leaders in Maharashtra and discussions about the Mahayuti alliance.

Before arriving in Mumbai, Shah was in Nagpur on Monday, where he laid the foundation stone for Swasti Niwas, a residential facility for cancer patients and their families at the National Cancer Institute. He later travelled to Nanded in the Marathwada region, where he unveiled a life-size statue of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vasantrao Naik.

Shah also inaugurated a few BJP offices in the region, with members of the Banjara community welcoming him.
