An airstrike on a crowded town square in Ethiopia's Amhara region killed at least 26 people and wounded more than 55 others. The region has seen clashes between local militia members and the Ethiopian military, as the state seeks to disband them. Last week, the military regained key Amhara towns by force. The airstrike hit the centre of the Finote Selam community, with the Federal government remaining silent on suggestions that it was responsible.
